Our Mission

At Resolute Psych, our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care and addiction treatment in Massachusetts, helping individuals overcome both mental health conditions and substance use disorders.

We specialize in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid and alcohol use disorders, including Suboxone®, Subutex®, Vivitrol®, and naltrexone, while also addressing co-occurring concerns such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and ADHD. By combining medication management, supportive therapy, and patient-centered collaboration, we empower every client to build a foundation for long-term recovery and wellness.

Suboxone® (buprenorphine/naloxone): Reduces cravings and withdrawal so you can engage in recovery and daily life.
Subutex® (buprenorphine monoproduct): Reserved for pregnancy or documented naloxone intolerance. When clinically indicated, we coordinate closely with OB/GYN care and transition back to Suboxone when appropriate postpartum.
Vivitrol® (extended-release naltrexone injection): Monthly shot that blocks the effects of opioids and helps prevent alcohol relapse. Requires an opioid-free period before starting.
Oral naltrexone: A daily option for alcohol use disorder and for select patients after opioid detox.

Induction: Initiate medication safely (at home, in person, or via telehealth, as appropriate), manage withdrawal symptoms, and establish dose targets.
Stabilization: Fine-tune dosing, address triggers, and add su

Prescription refills when clinically appropriate
Periodic urine drug screens and PDMP reviews (standard safety)
Coordination with therapists, primary care, OB/GYN, or community supports as needed.

MAT is a good fit if you want to reduce cravings and withdrawal, prevent relapse, and rebuild routines at home, work, or school. We individualize care for co-occurring conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and ADHD so your whole health is treated—not just symptoms.

Vivitrol® requires you to be opioid-free for a period before the first dose; we’ll help you plan this safely.
Naltrexone (oral or injection) may require baseline and periodic liver function checks.
Secure storage of medications at home is required.
If you’re on benzodiazepines or sedatives, we’ll review risks and coordinate a safe plan.

Will MAT make me “high”?
No. When taken as prescribed, these medications reduce cravings and withdrawal without euphoria.How long will I be on MAT?
There’s no one-size-fits-all timeline. We’ll review progress regularly and decide together when (or if) tapering makes sense.Can I start with telehealth?
Yes, many visits can be done by secure telemedicine. Some steps may require in-person care for safety.What if I have a slip or relapse?
Tell us right away. Relapse is a risk of the illness, not a failure of treatment. We adjust the plan and add support.
